5th: Mrs. Schlag

I have been in education since 2011. I grew up on MDI and felt fortunate to live in such a wonderful community. I left for college knowing that I wanted to return as a teacher to give back to the community that I loved. I have had the opportunity to teach in multiple MDIRSS schools across many grade levels, including 5-8th grade and 2nd grade. Before I came to Pemetic, I worked at Trenton Elementary, where I developed an interest in outdoor and place-based learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, fishing, kayaking, gardening, cooking, and hanging out with our rescue dog, Zoey.
