K-8 Special Ed/SUN: Ms. Worrell

As the K-8 Students with Unique Needs Teacher at Pemetic, I get the privilege of working with a wide variety of students in a number of capacities. I teach math, reading, writing, science, social studies, and functional skills. I’m still new to living in Maine and grew up in Omaha, Nebraska before attending the University of Iowa for an undergraduate degree in English literature and Creative Writing. After beginning at Pemetic in the fall of 2020, I graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Masters in Special Education in 2021. When I’m not in school, I enjoy spending time in Acadia riding my bike or hiking, reading, writing, and spending time with my family.
