I am the kindergarten teacher, and have been teaching at Pemetic since 2004. I have taught a variety of grade levels and content, including two years as the school librarian. I also serve on the AOS Service Learning Committee.
I moved to Bar Harbor from Kennebunkport, Maine in 1989 to attend College of the Atlantic. My husband Jake and I live in Town Hill with our two English Springer Spaniels Preston and Higgins, and our cat Broccoli.
When I am not at school I like spending time with my family and friends. I love art, sports, nature, and doing projects around the house. I am a doctorate student at the University of Maine, Orono, working towards my Ph.D. in literacy education, so I can often be found reading and writing on weekends and the middle of the night!
