I have made Pemetic my home for 25 years. I teach K-8 Music and 4-8 French. Musical offerings include K-4 classroom music, elementary strings and band, and middle school band, chorus, and orchestra. I also direct the jazz ensemble and show choir. The middle school French program reflects the high school French 1 curriculum. I attended the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s in Music Education and a Master’s in Conducting. I have a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Music Education from Boston University and have just completed a minor in French. My passion is to instill creative and critical thinking in students; I love witnessing inspired moments!
In the summer I direct the Ellsworth Town Band and play tenor saxophone in a Dixieland band. In the winter I play clarinet in the orchestra for the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Maine. I love to ride my bike on the carriage roads of Acadia and to hike the formidable trail system.
CommunicationThe easiest way to reach me is through email.
