I began my career in education in Hartford, CT, at a PreK – 8th grade school and taught in 1st through 5th. I was also the Family Literacy Coordinator at A.E. Burr School. I then moved to Florida for family and taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade at Lake Trafford Elementary in Immokalee. While at Lake Trafford I was the Math & Science Coach, the MTSS Coordinator and the interim Assistant Principal. I then transferred to Pinecrest Elementary in Immokalee where I was the Assistant Principal for 9 years. Due to family needs, I moved to Ohio and was the Assistant Principal at Royal Manor and Lincoln Elementary in Gahanna. Always knowing where my heart was happiest, I made the decision to move to Maine full time and was fortunate enough to find my way to Pemetic Elementary in Southwest Harbor, where I am the Principal.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, boating, hiking, biking, and just loving my surroundings. Being with my family and friends brings me the most happiness.
