For the 2019-20 school year, Mr. Brzezowski is offering two (2) after-school programs for students in grades 5-8 to learn programming using the Scratch programming language from MIT and one program for students in grades 3-5 using Edison robots.. Please contact Mr. Brzezowski if you would like to help with the classes. He is also looking for 2 dedicated parents to create a Lego Robotics group.
Students play musical notes, create a music video, and build an interactive music display. As students complete the Google CS-First course they may begin to build their own creations, explore mini-challenges, or learn Garage Band.
Dates: Monday – Thursday for two weeks (October 21-October 31)
Students learn basic video game coding concepts by making different types of games, including racing, platform, and launching.
Dates: December 11-12th (Wednes & Thurs) AND December 16-20th (Mon-Friday) Plus a final date TBD
Build and program small robots using the Edison robot as the base. Solve challenges and create creative solutions, The class will run for eight (8) sessions with five (5) sessions the first week and three (3) on the second week. **Please send students with after-school snacks.**
