Pemetic Elementary School communicates information with families and the community in three primary ways.
- School Messenger: This is a notification system for school cancelations, emergencies, and other time sensitive notifications. Only family members with contact information in the school computer system (Powerschool) will receive these notification. To receive text notifications from this system a family member needs to have their cell number in Powerschool AND do the following:
- Text any one of the following words to the number 68453: subscribe, opting, or yes. (You will know that you were successful if you receive the following reply message: “You are registered to receive apron 3 msgs/mo. Ext STOP to quit, HELP for help.”
- School News Blog: The school will post photos from events, the weekly newsletter, celebrations, and other information here.
- School Mailing Lists: The school has various mailing lists that anyone can subscribe to. Below is a list of the mailing groups that can be subscribed to. PemNews is the main list where newsletters and announcements are sent out to.
